Adrienne Armstrong-

WGA, published writer, sitcom writer, award winning documentaries

ADRIENNE ARMSTRONG is a writer of situation comedies, films and documentaries. She has worked on more than a dozen TV shows, among them “Alf”, “Full House” and “Charles in Charge” where she was executive script consultant for the show during its entire syndicated run. Adrienne won a Writers’ Guild Blue Ribbon Panel award for an episode of “Northern Exposure”, sold two television pilots to Grant Tinker at GTG Entertainment, wrote and produced three award-winning documentaries for A&E and an independent film, “Second to Die” which was released in 2001. Her book, “Backstage With the Original Hollywood Square” which she wrote with TV Host Peter Marshall was published in 2002 and is the second biggest-selling book in its genre on Amazon.com.

A member of the Writers’ Guild of America, West for the last 25 years, Adrienne prides herself on taking the job of voting each year for Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay very seriously. She loves movies, particularly scripts, and is honored to be the head of the Writers’ Group for the Factory. With the help of our fearless leader, Ronald Shattuck, and all the hard-working volunteers who give so much of their time and themselves, one writers’ vision has already been transformed from the page to the screen.

Adrienne’s hope for the Factory is that professionals in the business will come forward and help those who aspire to the art of filmmaking gain experience in their fields. Not only is this “giving back” in its truest sense, it’s also a whole lot of fun.
