An art director had a vision. It was to create a filmmaking capability for the community – a place for young and old alike to experience the art of filmmaking. Ronald Shattuck purchased all the equipment necessary and spent the next 15 months testing and integrating his systems. His plan was to pair up experienced filmmakers, directors, writers, actors, and producers with those wanting to be so. He, in turn, would provide the hardware necessary to turn these creative talents and energies into actual films, whether they are 5-minute shorts or more major productions.

Since Ronald’s vision was huge, he needed partners, such as Donna Walden, who he named to be Executive Director to mange the business side and put structure around his concept. It was decided early on that the nature of this enterprise was such that it should be incorporated as a 501c3 not-for-profit organization.
